Through November 2013, we are collecting donations for Blue Star Connection, a 501 C3 non-profit organization dedicated to bringing music into the lives of children and young adults who are fighting life-threatening diseases and other challenging life situations.

There really is no limit to what you could donate: guitars, basses, drum kits, electric keyboards, flutes, violins, etc. Any working instruments that can help to bring some joy to a child’s life is welcome.

Additionally, there is an upcoming Fort Collins concert to benefit Blue Star Connection at the Blind Pig on November 14th at 7pm. Local bands will include Young Ancients, Robert Wilson Blues Band, and Chaotic Serenity. Also performing will be local youth musicians from The Youth Leadership Music Project. On display will be 30 exquisite cigar box guitars made by kids from Johnson Elementary for silent auction. They will be available for bidding or for purchase beginning November 11th at the Blind Pig.  To view the event flyer, click here! Now through Monday, November 11th, 2013, you can get a FREE Pumpkin or a Pumpkin Spice Latte when you bring a Homeless Gear contribution to our office (1018 Centre Avenue, Fort Collins, CO 80526). Homeless Gear is a great community organization that serves homeless children, youth and adults so we can accept products in all sizes. Below, please find items needed.
